Every 6 Months

Check that the battery is properly working by getting it serviced. There's nothing worse than a dead battery halting your trip. If you drive a severe duty truck, it's also important to check the air filter fuel tank vent. You can wait up to twelve months for normal and heavy-duty trucks. You should also get a 3-axle alignment annually. 10,000-15,000 Miles

Your truck should be properly lubricated every 10,000 miles for severe-duty and every 15,000 miles for normal to heavy-duty trucks. Different trucks have different chassis grease points, so check where yours are to keep your ride smooth.

100,000-150,000 Miles

At this stage, a number of parts need to be serviced and possibly replaced. Check the following: air dryer filter, power steering fluid and filter, valve adjustment, DEF system service, and AHI. Again, severe-duty trucks should be checked more frequently.

300,000 Miles and Above

Once your truck has surpassed 300,000 miles, replace the coolant filter and fan drive belt. Between 400,000 to 500,000 miles, it's time to check or replace the DPF and transmission filters. Remember, different trucks have specific needs. Pay attention to anything abnormal and be sure to have your truck inspected right away to make sure there are no serious problems.
